What is this?

This is a 1:10 scale 3D printed model of Oppenheimer’s Atomic bomb – “Fat Man”

We were fascinated with the insane engineering and mathematical challenges behind the development of this atomic weapon so I designed and made a detailed model of it.

The model features all the main components of the real bomb, including the Internal Neutron Initiator, Plutonium Sphere, Uranium 238 Sphere, etc. all the way to the Armor Shell – and can be assembled/disassembled.

Please note that this model is for educational purposes only and we are against the use of atomic weapons.

DOES THE MODEL COME FULLY ASSEMBLED OR AS A KIT?

The model comes as an Assembly kit.
All magnets, fasteners (e.g. hex screws & nuts), and tools will be provided so you won’t need any purchase anything additional (except a pair of scissors). You only need to follow our instructions to assemble the model yourself.
DOES THE MODEL COME IN A CARDBOARD BOX?

Yes, the model is well packed. It comes in a box filled with foam and bubble wrap.
DOES THE MODEL HAS ANY INTERIOR?

Yes, the models has full interior which represent all the main components of the Fat Man atomic bomb
