Starships

Frequently asked questions about our SpaceX Starship 3D printed models.

Do the Starships fly?

No, they don’t.

Can the Starship models be stripped down to piece part level?

Yes, all parts are held together by magnets.

Will you update these designs as the real Starship progresses?

Yes, I will.

Does the price include all future updates?

Yes and no. Depends on the complexity of the modifications. Some updates will be free of charge and some won’t.

Crew Dragons

Frequently asked questions about our SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft 3D printed models.

Does these models fly?

No, they don’t.

Can the models be stripped down to piece part level?

Yes, very few parts are glued together but instead are held together by magnets.

Jet Engines

Frequently asked questions about our 3D printed Jet Engine models.

Do they spin?

All of our Jet Engine models have fans that can spin. The JET-FA does when you put it on the stand.

Can I take the engines off their stand?

Yes.

Can I spin the fan manually?

Yes, you can. For the JET-M1, JET-MN, and JET-FA models, only do so when the motor has been removed.

Can the fan on these Jet Engines be driven by a motor?

A motor is an optional upgrade only for the JET-M1 and JET-MN models. Plans are afoot to develop an upgraded JET-FA model that can be driven by a motor.

What is the motor RPM?

The motor RPM on the JET-M1 and JET-MN is 10RPM as standard but can be swapped for a slower or faster motor.

Can the motor be removed when not in use?

Yes, the motor is hidden inside the exhaust nozzle on the JET-M1 and JET-MN and can be removed easily.

Does these Jet Engine models have any internal components?

No, they don’t.

Can the Jet Engine models be stripped down?

For the JET-S1, JET-M1, and JET-MN models, everything can be stripped down except the fan and the fan shaft. These two parts are glued together permanently.

The JET-M2 and JET-FA models can be stripped down to piece part level.

Does these models work like a real jet engine?

No, they are only educational models so please don’t put them on your RC airplanes.
