Our story

Hi, I’m An Duong, founder of Morethan3D.

I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015 and am currently working in the Aerospace industry.

Since I was a kid, I have always loved inventing and designing new things.

I was first introduced to 3D printing in 2018 by one of my friends and I fell in love with this technology immediately. One day, whilst working on my printer, I thought, “Hey, why not do something fun with 3D printing to support my STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities?” That’s when I started to design 3D printed educational models as a hobby after work.

I decided to use LinkedIn as a convenient way to document my journey in 3D printing. What I didn’t expect was, since I shared my projects on this platform, they became very popular and I constantly receive positive feedback and responses from many people. This led me to believe that there is SO MUCH MORE I can do to help change people’s perception of 3D printing, and that’s why I decided to create Morethan3D.

Today, our products are already being used to inspire thousands of young children and students across the world to pursue a career in STEM.
