This is a 3D printed 1:96 scale spaceship model designed loosely based on Prototype Ship SN30!

Inspired by past, current, and future Space exploration missions, we designed a 3D printable 1:96 scale spaceship model with a goal of using it to inspire young children to study more about space, science, and other STEM subjects.

This model was designed using publicly available material from the internet including CAD models, videos and pictures

What are the differences between SPACESHIP-S6 and SPACESHIP-S5?

Exterior:
SPACESHIP-S6 is designed based on SN30 prototype whereas SPACESHIP-S5 was based on SN29.

Heat Shield Tiles:
The Heat Shields on the SPACESHIP-S6 were completely redesigned from scratch to represent the correct scale of the tiles on the real vehicle.

Frequent questions

Is there an update package to upgrade my SPACESHIP-S5 to S6 version?

Unfortunately due to significant design changes between the SPACESHIP-S6, and all the previous versions of the SPACESHIP models, there is NO update package.
However, if you previously purchased the SPACESHIP-S5 (either separately or within a Bundle), we are happy to offer you 10% off if you want to purchase the S6 version. All you have to do is use the unique product code of the SPACESHIP-S5 at checkout.
The unique product code can be found in the main folder that you downloaded – simply open the text file called “CODE” and you’ll see the code.
Is the new Heat Shields on the SPACESHIP-S6 compatible with all of the previous Ships?

No, the new Heat Shield design on the SPACESHIP-S6 is NOT backwards compatible with any of the previous Ships.
I don't have a 3D printer, can I purchase a physical model instead?vv

Unfortunately we currently don’t offer sales of the physical 3D printed models of this item.
You’ll need to either print the model yourself, or purchase the STL files from us and ask someone else to print it for you.
Do you have the BOOSTER-S6 for the SPACESHIP-S6 model?

Yes, we are currently working on it, please check back later
Do the STL also include STL of the rocket engine R4PTCR-M1?

No, it has a much simplified version of the R4PTCR-M1 , so not as detailed.
Does the model have any interior?

Yes, it has full interior including the LOX, CH4 tanks, header tanks and all plumbing.
What is the minimum build volume that I need to print this model?

Your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x145mm
Is the SPACESHIP-S6 model compatible with the OLIT-S1/S2 model?

Yes, it is (since they are both at the same scale 1:96).
Does the STL also include STL of MASSEY Test Stand?

No, the MASSEY Test Stand is a separate model – which you can purchase separately
