SPACESHIP-S3.5

Price range: £40.00 through £250.00

Difficulty

Difficulty - Medium: Contains many parts and requires additional tools, and hardware to assemble (e.g. magnets, bearings, fasteners, dowel pins).

What is this?

This is a 3D printed 1:96 scale spaceship model designed loosely based on Prototype Ship SN26!

If you have already purchased the SPACESHIP-S4 or SPACESHIP-S5, you DO NOT need to purchase the full SPACESHIP-S3.5 STL files. Instead, you can just purchase the SPACESHIP-S3.5 Update which includes all new parts of this spaceship version

Inspired by past, current, and future Space exploration missions, we designed a 3D printable 1:96 scale spaceship model with a goal of using it to inspire young children to study more about space, science, and other STEM subjects.

Please note: Morethan3D Ltd does NOT have any business relationship or association with Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (referred to as SpaceX). Although our space models may reassemble SpaceX’s hardware designs, our models are designed with visual cues from publicly available material from the internet (e.g. photos, videos), combined with our own imagination and tweaks. Therefore, Morethan3D models are not accurate replicas of SpaceX’s products. Our models are not affiliated, associated, authorised, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with SpaceX.

If you want to print this model yourself, your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x145mm

In-depth guide for printing and assembling this model: “How to Print & Assemble The SPACESHIP-S4”. (The SPACESHIP-S4 and S3.5 are almost identical so you can use the same instructions from the S4 version, just ignore the Flaps, and Heatshields)

The STL package of this model also includes an “All-In-One” Print Profile created for Bambu Lab X1 and P1 Series 3D printers. If you intend to use any of those printers to print the model, follow this instruction to print all parts: How to use Bambu Studio’s All-In-One Print Profile

Featured questions

  • Does the model come fully assembled or as a kit?

The model comes as a pre-assembled kit, all magnets are pre-fitted so it’s really easy to assemble.

  • Does the model come in a cardboard box?

Yes, the model is well packed. It comes in a box filled with foam and bubble wrap.

  • Do you have the BOOSTER for the SPACESHIP-S3.5 model?

In theory, the SPACESHIP-S3.5 doesn’t come with any BOOSTER (as SN26 wasn’t intended to fly like the other SN’s).
However, if you really want to stack it on a BOOSTER, any 1:96 scale BOOSTER models on our website (with the exception of BOOSTER-S1) is compatible with this Ship

  • Do the STL also include STL of the rocket engine R4PTCR-M1?

No, it has a much simplified version of the R4PTCR-M1 , so not as detailed.

  • Does the model have any interior?

Yes, it has full interior including the LOX, CH4 tanks, header tanks and all plumbing.

  • What is the minimum build volume that I need to print this model?

Your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x145mm

  • Is the SPACESHIP-S3.5 model compatible with the OLIT-S1/S2 model?

Yes, it is (since they are both at the same scale 1:96).

  • Does the STL also include STL of the Launch Pad?

    Yes
