What is this?

This is an update package to transform your SPACESHIP-S3 (SN25) to the new SPACESHIP-S4 (SN28). We’ve added some new parts on this new version – See FAQ below for more details.

If you have NOT already purchased the SPACESHIP-S3, please just purchase the new SPACESHIP-S4 instead

Inspired by past, current, and future Space exploration missions, we designed a 3D printable 1:96 scale spaceship model with a goal of using it to inspire young children to study more about space, science, and other STEM subjects.

Printing & Assembly Instructions

If you want to print this model yourself, your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x145mm

How was this model designed?

This model was designed using publicly available material from the internet including CAD models, videos and pictures

What are the differences between SPACESHIP-S4 and SPACESHIP-S3?

Exterior:
SPACESHIP-S4 is designed based on SN28 prototype whereas SPACESHIP-S3 was based on SN25

Interior:
SPACESHIP-S4 interior has been updated to better represent the real Starship’s Propellant Distribution System

Heat Shield Tiles:
Some heat shield tiles on SPACESHIP-S4 has been redesigned to match with the new Tiling Pattern on SN28

Payload Door:
SPACESHIP-S4 design includes a brand new, functional Payload Door that can be opened and closed (which isn’t available on any of the previous models)

PEZ Dispenser:
SPACESHIP-S4 features a brand new module – the PEZ Dispenser. The dispenser can hold up to 20x individual satellites in total, which can be deployed manually one by one using any small metal tool you can find in your house

Multi-colour 3D printed parts:
SPACESHIP-S4 new design includes a number of multi-colour 3D printed parts (e.g. Nose Cone Section, Forward Dome Section), this allows these parts to be printed with two colours (Black and Silver) at the same time.

I have already purchased the SPACESHIP-S3 STL before, if I purchase this Update package, can I also download the Bambu Studio "All-In-One" profile for the complete SPACESHIP-S4 rather than just the updated parts?

Yes, if you already purchased the SPACESHIP-S3 STL before, and you want to have the Bambu Studio “All-In-One” profile for the complete SPACESHIP-S4 model (which include ALL parts rather than just the newly added parts), please send us an email via sales@morethan3d.com with your proof of purchase (SPACESHIP-S3), and we’ll send you the Bambu Studio “All-In-One” profile for the SPACESHIP-S4
Does the model come fully assembled or as a kit?

The model comes as a pre-assembled kit, all magnets are pre-fitted so it’s really easy to assemble.
Does the model come in a cardboard box?

Yes, the model is well packed. It comes in a box filled with foam and bubble wrap.
Do you have the BOOSTER for the SPACESHIP-S4 model?

Yes, please check out the BOOSTER-S3 .
Do the STL also include STL of the rocket engine R4PTCR-M1?

No, it has a much simplified version of the R4PTCR-M1 , so not as detailed.
Does the model have any interior?

Yes, it has full interior including the LOX, CH4 tanks, header tanks and all plumbing.
What is the minimum build volume that I need to print this model?

Your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x145mm
Is the SPACESHIP-S4 model compatible with the OLIT-S1/S2 model?

Yes, it is (since they are both at the same scale 1:96).
Does the STL also include STL of the Heatshield Tiles and Launch Pad?

Yes, Heatshield Tiles and Launch Pad are both included in the STL. You don’t have to purchase them separately
