What is this?

This is an update package to transform your BOOSTER-S4 (B10) to the new BOOSTER-S5 (B11). We’ve added some new parts on this new version – See FAQ below for more details.

If you have already purchased the BOOSTER-S4, you DO NOT need to purchase the full BOOSTER-S5 STL files. Instead, you can just download the BOOSTER-S4 Update free of charge. Download link is available via our Morethan3D Discord Server under #free-giveaway channel

Inspired by past, current, and future Space exploration missions, we designed a 3D printable 1:48 scale spaceship model with a goal of using it to inspire young children to study more about space, science, and other STEM subjects.

If you want to print this model yourself, your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x151mm.

How was this model designed?

This model was designed using publicly available material from the internet including CAD models, videos and pictures

What are the differences between BOOSTER-S5 and BOOSTER-S4?

BOOSTER-S5 design is very similar to the S4 version. The only differences between the two are:

CH4 Tank:
BOOSTER-S5 has significantly more internal stringers in the methane tank compared with previous boosters. This will give the vehicle more rigidity while depressurised.

Frequent questions

Does the model come fully assembled or as a kit?

The model comes as a pre-assembled kit, all magnets are pre-fitted so it’s really easy to assemble.
Does the model come in a cardboard box?

Yes, the model is well packed. It comes in a box filled with foam and bubble wrap.
Can I stack the SPACESHIP-S4 on the BOOSTER-S4?

Yes, of course

Please note: The SPACESHIP-S2, SPACESHIP-S3, SPACESHIP-S4 are also compatible with the BOOSTER-S5
Does the STL also include the Orbital Launch Mount?

No, the BOOSTER-S5 doesn’t include a Orbital Launch Mount. Instead, it comes with a basic stand which allows you to keep the model upright.
Does the model has any interior?

Yes, it has full interior including the LOX, CH4 tanks, and CH4 plumbings.
What is the minimum build volume that I need to print this model?

Your printer need a minimum build volume of 150x150x151mm.
