What is this?

This is a 1:2 scale AK-47 (Type 2) display model
Produced between 1951 and 1954, the Type 2 AK-47 was the first successful large-scale production variant of Mikhail Kalashnikov’s iconic rifle design. Distinguished by its milled receiver, characteristic lightening cuts, and unique stock mounting arrangement, the Type 2 represents an important transitional stage in the early development of the Kalashnikov platform. Due to its relatively short production run and historical significance, original Type 2 rifles are highly sought after by collectors and military historians. This 1:2 scale model faithfully recreates the distinctive external features of the Type 2 AK-47 while incorporating a completely redesigned, non-functional internal mechanism intended solely for 3D printing, display, and educational purposes.

DISCLAIMER AND SAFETY NOTICE!

PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING, PRINTING, ASSEMBLING, OR USING THIS MODEL.

This digital model is a 1:2 scale miniature toy and display replica intended solely for hobby, educational, engineering, and display purposes. It is not a firearm, is not designed to function as a firearm, and cannot chamber, load, or fire any real ammunition.

The design has been intentionally engineered to be mechanically incompatible with real firearm components. None of the parts are interchangeable with, compatible with, or intended for use with any firearm. The internal design differs substantially from that of any real firearm and is not suitable for conversion into a functional weapon.

Any projectile-launching capability incorporated into this model operates solely through a low-energy toy mechanism and is intended only for launching the included lightweight printed projectiles over short distances. The model is not capable of firing real ammunition, cartridges, primers, casings, pellets, BBs, metal projectiles, or any commercially manufactured ammunition.

This model is intended as a novelty toy and display item only. It is not designed, manufactured, marketed, or sold as a weapon.
