What is this?
This is a 1:10 scale 3D printed model of Oppenheimer’s Atomic bomb – “Fat Man”
We were fascinated with the insane engineering and mathematical challenges behind the development of this atomic weapon so I designed and made a detailed model of it.
The model contains all the main components from the Internal Neutron Initiator, Plutonium Sphere, Uranium 238 Sphere, etc. all the way to the Armor Shell – and can be assembled/disassembled.
Please note that this model is for educational purposes only and we are against the use of atomic weapons 🙅♂️
