What is this?

This is a 3D printed 1/96 scale model designed based on the SpaceX’s Orbital Launch Integration Tower (OLIT)!

“SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft and Super Heavy rocket (collectively referred to as Starship) represent a fully reusable transportation system designed to carry both crew and cargo to Earth orbit, the Moon, Mars and beyond Starship will be the world’s most powerful launch vehicle ever developed, with the ability to carry in excess of 100 metric tonnes to Earth orbit” – source: SpaceX 

Inspired by their missions, I’ve decided to design a 3D printable set of Starship, Super Heavy Booster, Orbital Launch Pad, and Orbital Launch Integration Tower scale model with a goal of using it to inspire young children to study more about space science and other STEM subjects.

How can I purchase this model?

You can either (1) download the STL files and make it yourself on your 3D printer OR (2) order the 3D printed model directly from us. If you choose to order the 3D printed model, please note that the model will come pre-assembled and all you need to do is stack the tower sections together – which should take no longer than a few minutes (and no tools/glue is needed)

STL files: £60* (Only include the OLIT. Starship and Booster are NOT included!)
3D printed model: £2000 (Only include the OLIT. Starship and Booster are NOT included!)

* If you want to print this model yourself, your printer needs an absolute minimum build volume of 216x200x178mm
Ideally, it would be better if your build volume is greater than 322x228x178mm so you can print the largest single part of the model –  the Chopstick_RH in one piece. Otherwise, you’ll need to print it in two pieces and glue them together. To see if your printer can handle this part or not, you can download it via this LINK

This model was designed using publicly available material from the internet including CAD models, videos and pictures of the real SpaceX’s Starship Prototypes.

1, Does it fly? No, it doesn’t
2, Can it lift the Starship-S1 and Booster S1? Yes
3, Does the model come in a cardboard box? Yes, the model is well packed. It comes in a box with foam/bubble wrap
4, Does the model come fully assembled or as a kit?  The model comes as a kit – you’ll need to assemble it yourself. 
5, Will you update the design as the real OLIT progresses?  Yes, I will
6, Does the £60 include all future updates?  Yes and No. Depends on the complexity of the modifications, some update will be free of charge and some won’t
7, Can I stack the Starship-S1 on the Booster-S1 with this OLIT?  Yes, of course
8, Does the STL also include STL of the Starship-S1 or Booster-S1?  No, you need to purchase the Starship-S1 and Booster-S1 STL files separately
9, Can the OLIT model be motorised?  Yes, I’m working on the motorised version at the moment. You can purchase it as an upgrade package in the future
10, What is the minimum build volume that I need to print this model? Ideally, your printer need a minimum build volume of 216x200x178mm or it needs to be able to print the largest single part of the model – download and try it here: LINK

Nice 3D model.. very good quality on the models.. This will take some time to print this.. 🙂
I have done 3 sections and the chopstick so far..
